When you use Zutly, we collect:

Account info: Name, phone number, email (optional)
Profile info: Profile photo, bio, government ID (for verification)
Ride info: Pickup/drop locations, date, time, vehicle details
Communication: Messages between drivers and passengers
Device info: Device type, OS version (for app compatibility)

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To match riders with drivers
To enable in-app messaging
To verify your identity
To calculate and display ratings
To send OTP for authentication

3. Information Sharing

We share limited information with other users:

Your name, rating, and vehicle details are visible to passengers who view your ride
Your phone number is visible to confirmed ride participants for coordination
We do NOT sell your data to third parties
We do NOT share your government ID with other users

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secure AWS servers (US-East region)
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
Government IDs are stored in encrypted form
API communication uses HTTPS encryption

5. Your Rights

Access: View your data in the app (Profile section)
Update: Edit your profile anytime
Delete: Delete your account from Settings (deactivates account, cancels active bookings)

6. Payments

Zutly does not process, collect, or store any payment information. All payments are made directly between drivers and passengers outside the app (UPI, cash, etc.).

7. Location Data

We use your location only when you explicitly search for rides or offer a ride. We do not track your location in the background.

8. Children's Privacy

Zutly is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
